How do I use
it?1. Registering your phone number:
Register in
advance the numbers from where you will be using this service. The
system recognizes the number you are calling from and you do not
have to dial any PIN. You can always register your phone numbers by
Phone dialing 1-800-766-6160.
2. Dial the access number that
best matches your location:
Free local access numbers are
available for most US cities and states and 5 foreign countries.
From any other US location, you can also use our Toll free access
numbers for an additional 2¢ per minute charge. Review our list of
available access numbers
here.
How do I know which access numbers are local, and
what is the correct way of dialing an access number using a
residential phone?
The best way to verify this is to dial your
city's access number without the “1” prefix before the area code. If
the prompt DOES NOT ask you to dial the "1", it is a local access
number.
DO NOT DIAL A LOCAL ACCESS NUMBER WITH A “1” BEFORE
THE AREA CODE. THIS MAY INCUR LONG DISTANCE OR TOLL CHARGES FROM
YOUR LOCAL PHONE COMPANY.
CrossFone® is not responsible for
any long distance charges incurred by the customers while dialing an
access number. Customer needs to verify its existing local and long
distance plan to guarantee that no long distance charges will be
charge to Customer’s account.
3.Dial your destination number
following these rules and enjoy the call:
a.For US Domestic calls
dial 1+ Area Code + Phone Number
b.For International calls dial
011+ Country Code + Area Code + Phone Number
CrossFone® is
not responsible for any international termination charges incurred
by the customers. Customer needs to follow-up CrossFone® dialing
instructions and avoid any misuse or changes in the process. A
“Thank you for Using CrossFone®” message should be heard after
dialing any destination. If this message is not heard, Customer
needs to hang up the call immediately.
What are correct mobile phone dialing
instructions?Mobile phone users should be aware that when
the "SEND" or "TALK" button of a cell phone is pressed, the numbers
dialed are sent to the CELLULAR PHONE COMPANY. This will generate
very expensive international long distance charges from your mobile
phone service.
Once you have dialed our Access Number and
reached the IVR, the correct key to press to send your destination
number to our system is the pound “#” key. Never press "SEND" or
"TALK" once you have reached CrossFone’s IVR system.
CROSSFONE® IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY AIRTIME, LONG DISTANCE, OR
OTHER CHARGES FROM YOUR MOBILE PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER DUE TO
INCORRECT DIALING PROCEDURES.
Where can
I use it?The service can be accessed from the US,
Argentina, Canada, Colombia, and Mexico. Rates listed will be based
on the Local Access Numbers.
